Warren

A maze you never see whole. Your marker is pinned to the middle of the screen and the board is what moves — drag it about and the marker crawls the other way across it. It cannot cross a line, so a board that refuses to budge is a wall you have just found in the dark. Your lamp reaches two or three passages; everything you have already lit stays on the map, dimmed, and the arrow tells you which way the exit lies but never how to get there.

How to play

  1. Drag anywhere to push the board. Your marker stays dead centre — the maze slides past it, so pulling the board right carries you left.
  2. You can never cross a line. When the board will not move that way, you are up against a wall: it lights up amber and stays on your map, which is how you feel out passages the lamp cannot reach.
  3. The green arrow points to the exit but not to the route. Reach it in as few steps as you can. Arrow keys or WASD move you a step at a time, and 🖐 Drag flips whether a drag moves the board or moves you.
